Discovery Lab and Stemcell Partnership to Create Regional Hub for Science Education

Discovery Lab, Tulsa’s premier children's museum, is excited to announce a new partnership with Stemcell Science Shop, a leader in STEM education and innovative science products. This collaboration aims to ignite the curiosity of children and families in Tulsa, further enhancing the museum’s educational impact.

Since its inception in 2007, Discovery Lab has been a key educational resource, reaching over 130,000 children and families annually, including many from underserved communities. Its recent expansion to a 57,000-square-foot facility in the Gathering Place park marks a significant leap in its ability to serve the Tulsa community with STEAM-focused exhibits and programs.

Originating in Tulsa in 2015, Stemcell has carved a niche for itself with its engaging STEM products and collaborations with renowned science figures. Pivoting to a focus on e-commerce and their popular subscription box in recent years, Stemcell has captured the imagination of a global audience. Now, with a flagship retail location at Discovery Lab, Stemcell offers an exclusive, hands-on shopping experience.

Stemcell’s unique retail concept more closely resembles a shoppable museum than a traditional store, where visitors can explore an array of fascinating scientific objects from around the world. This dynamic approach extends the educational spirit of Discovery Lab, offering a tangible, interactive exploration of science, where every visit is an opportunity to uncover something new and intriguing.
